Theatro Municipal Sao Paulo

Sao Paulo, Brazil

Designed in early 1900 by engineer Ramos de Azevedo, in concert with Italian architects Claudio Rossi and Domiziano Rossi, Theatro Municipal in Sao Paulo Brazil is considered as one of the most important cultural venues in South America.  It is home to the Municipal Symphony Orchestra of São  Paulo, the Municipal Lyrical Choir of São Paulo, the City Ballet of São Paulo, and the String Quartet of the City of São Paulo.  In addition, the venue also has a long tradition of hosting prominent international opera companies.

The E-coustic Systems installation provides independent support for the opera as well as the orchestra.  For opera performances, the E-shell™ system provides optimum timing and uniformity of sound from the orchestra in the pit throughout the stage house.  The E-coustic System in the house provides optimum reflected and reverberant energy for the orchestra when it performs on the stage
